I hope everyone had a great Christmas! My little family and I had fun opening presents and just hanging out together. Next Christmas, we will be back in Florida which is awesome because all of our family is there. We should be moving back within the next three months or so. I'm gonna cold and rainy Washington state but it's going to better going somewhere and knowing your way around places and knowing people. I hope everyone has a good New Years! I'm working on some new projects. I'll post as I create!

Unfrog-getable Card
Sooooo... This is a late night post. I'm kinda of a night owl. I've been that way for as long as I can remember! So I made a quick card!
Recipe
Create A Critter 2 cartridge
green and white polka dot paper
yellow paper
pink paper
green paper
patterned paper
yellow ribbon
pop dots
adhesive
2 way zig glue pen
My Pink Stamper Stamps - More Punny-licious
I took a lime green 8 1/2 in by 11 in sheet of paper and cut it in half at 5 1/2 in. You can get two cards out of piece of 8 1/2 in by 11 in sheet if you're feeling extra crafty or trying to mass produce something. I used the Create A Critter 2 cartridge for the frog and I cut it out at 3 1/2 in. This is by far the cutest cartridge ever! I used a pop dot on the heart belly and more pop dots to stick the frog to the card. I cut the pink layer at 5 1/4 in by 4 in and the patterned paper at 1 1/2 in by 4 in then put the ribbon where the pink and patterned paper meet. I then stamped the patterned paper with "Unfrog-getable" from the My Pink Stamper stamp line. I used my ATG gun and 2 way zig glue pen to stick everything together!

Project Book
I have made a project book. I made it to keep track of any projects that I do from now on. I hate that I forget the measurements to things. I have kept it very simple because I know I'm going to be using it a lot.
Recipe
Birthday Bash cartridge
Sophisticated cartridge
hot pink paper
blue paper
black paper
purple paper
adhesive
2 way zig glue pen
I got a notebook from walmart for $1 and I covered it with a sheet of 8 1/2 in by 11 in purple paper. I trimmed the paper to fit the cover better. I used the Birthday Bash cartridge for the letters. I cut them out at 3 in. I used the Sophisticated cartridge for the crown and I also cut that out at 3 in. It was super easy to put together. I used my ATG gun and 2 way zig glue pen to put everything together.

Christmas Banner
I made a Christmas banner for over my fireplace. The wall was super bare without anything on it so I made this banner! It took a while to make all because of trial and error for sizes of things. So here is what you will need for this banner!
Recipe
Sophisticated cartridge
Ashlyn's Alphabet cartridge
red cardstock
green cardstock
white cardstock
adhesive
2 way zig glue
ribbon or string
For the scallop circles and circles, I sized them both at 5 in with the Sophisticated cartridge. For the lower case letters and shadow, I sized them at 4 in. For the upper case letters and shadow, I sized them at 3 in. I used Ashlyn's Alphabet for the letters. I used a red ribbon with white stitching for the Merry and a satin red ribbon with candy canes on it for the Christmas. I used my ATG gun and 2 way zig glue to stick everything together.

One More Thing
One more thing before I head to bed. I'm going to start keeping a catalog of my projects so I can remember what size I cut pieces out at. I hate posting a projects and not give measurements to help anyone along! I'm hoping to jazz up my blog appearance a little bit by adding tags for posts and projects. If anyone can help me, I would greatly appreciate it!
Hello!
Oh my goodness! I can't believe I haven't posted since August! I'm going to blog as much as I can from now on. I got my creative juices going and nothing has stopped me! I'm trying to get into a craft fair where I live. I tried getting into last weekend but I was too late and I also didn't reserve a table even though the flyer said first come, first serve. Well anyway, I have recently expanded my cartridge collection since August. I have gone from ten to eighteen! I got good cartridges off of craigslist for $40 then got two more from Michael's because I got gift cards for my birthday which was yesterday. I had a good birthday. I went to dinner and a movie with the husband and it was nice to be by ourselves for a while. So, I have been making cards, scrapbook pages, and banners. I will do a separate post for each project. So stay tuned!

Wooden Name Blocks
So I made these blocks for my living home to made our little apartment more of a home. :) And I also made some for Jenna's room. For the white, black, and red blocks, it says the Gardners. For the font, I used the Ashlyn's Alphabet cartridge with the skinny feature button. I added tulle, ribbon and little cabochon flowers to add detail. I made Jenna's block with the Baby Steps cartridge with the font feature button and I also used ribbon, tulle, and flowers for details. I made a little flower block with my Simply Charmed cartridge. Maybe it could be used as an Easter decoration or as room decor. I added rhinestones and tulle for detail.
Update!
It's been a very long time since I have wrote a post! So a lot of things have happened since I last posted. At the beginning of June, my husband, Jenna, and I took a surprise trip to Florida to surprise my mom for Mother's Day. And it was a success! My mom had no idea that we were coming and neither did my little sisters or anyone on my side of the family for that matter. We had a great time being home. So once we got back to Washington from our surprise trip, we started looking for a dog. And then we got one. We rescued a brindle male boxer named Mater. Jenna loved him! He was such a good dog for our family but we had a little accident to where we just couldn't keep him anymore so we gave him to a family who could take care of him better than we could. So now, I'm just trying to get ready for Jenna's first birthday! We are heading to Florida for two weeks to celebrate and spend it with family and friends. I have been working on a lot of projects lately. I have been making name blocks, scrapbook pages, and a birthday banner for Jenna's party. I'll do separate post for each project. I also made a new Facebook page. Instead of having Jenna's Bows, I now have CJG Designs. I wanted to make the page name to show that I offer more than just bows. And I'm not gonna lie, it kinda got on my nerves when people called me Jenna and not Codi. So the CJG stands for Codi & Jenna Gardner . :) So click here for the new page!

Mother's Day Card
Hey everyone! This is a mother's day card I made. I have four of these so far and I need to make at least six more! But I think I ran out of the background paper. So I used my new Simply Charmed cartridge for the Happy Mother's Day part and I cut that at about 3 3/4 in. I would have gone bigger so it would cut the smiley face in the middle of the letters but I didn't want to make it too big. I cut them out in pink and brown. I used pattern paper for the background from a Marry Me paper stack that I got on sale at Michael's a while back. Hopefully they still have it because I need that paper! I cut the background paper at 5 1/4 or 5 1/2 in and I used pop dots to give it some dimension and I had also ran out of adhesive. I cut the card at 5 1/2 in to make it a decent size card. The card has little square cut outs along the bottom and I tried to cover them out as best as I could but I think it would have been cute if I had cut the card at a bigger size so I could get all the little cut outs. I used the Plantin Schoolbook cartridge for the background paper and the card. I didn't realize how much you can actually do with that cartridge! And I used brown ribbon and stamped a little heart in the top right hand corner in brown ink. I hope everybody like its. :) Thanks your stopping by!

Hello everyone. I hope everyone is doing well! Just a quick update about me. My husband is in the hospital due to having two surgeries last week. Not really sure on when he'll be discharged from the hospital just yet. I'm gonna close up shop on facebook next week on the 8th to the 16th. I can't give details just yet. I will on the 8th! I am currently working on a Valentine's Day scrapbook page for Jenna and a bunch of mother's day cards. I'm trying out my new Simply Charmed cartridge. And so far I love it! If anyone is selling any cartridges, let me know!

The Beginning to Jenna's Scrapbook
Here is a scrapbook page I did for Jenna. I used the Baby Steps cartridge for the baby in the bottom right hand corner of the page. I used stamps for the date, her weight, her height, and her name and wrote the rest of the information for them. I used a stamp that says " It's a girl" in the bottom right hand of the info. I used a ultra sound picture when we found out the sex and used light pink card stock as a border at the top right. We take pictures of her when she was just about three weeks old in the bottom left hand corner. I just love that hat and how she is positioned in this picture. So cute! And I did a half border of that picture in a dark color of pink card stock. And I got to try out my new watermark! I just love it! That's it for now. Thanks for stopping by! :)

Big News!
So for the past two days, my husband and I have moved into a new apartment! I most say I love it A LOT! We went from a tiny one bedroom to a big two bedroom! Jenna finally has her own room now that I get to decorate! I'm so excited. Our new place is still a mess because we haven't unpacked everything yet. My husband and I have been working super hard to get our old apartment cleared out and cleaned. And I closed my shop on facebook for the past week so we could get ready for our move. But I am now back open and ready for business! I worked on a few things tonight. I have at least 13 packages going out on Monday! Well, that's all I got for now. Thanks for stopping by!

Cupcake Birthday Card
Here is a card I had for my sister's birthday that is coming up pretty soon. I used the Cricut Lite Cupcake cartridge for this card. I used a lot of bright colors for this card because my sister is weird and funky that way. I don't have the measurements to this again because I like to wing it and it looks good to me! I did the top layer to the cupcake in purple cheetah print card stock from Michael's with the letter C in the middle for my sister's name, and the second layer to the cupcake in neon green card stock. I did the card part in hot pink card stock. I put lime green ribbon along the middle of the cupcake to make it look pretty. :) I used a happy birthday stamp on the inside in black ink. I made the envelope from the Platin Schoolbook cartridge. I used it in neon green card stock and I put a little zebra print C sticker on the back to hold the flap down but it didn't work so well, so I put tape to hold the rest of the flap down. Don't mind the crappy cell phone picture. :) Thanks for stopping by!

Baby Girl Card
Hello everyone. I hope everyone had a good day. Here is a card that I made for my friend since she is having a baby shower this weekend. She is having a girl. I used the Baby Steps cartridge for the baby on the front and used Plantin Schoolbook cartridge for the envelope. I think Baby Steps is the cutest cartridge! I used clear stamps from Michael's and black ink from Michael's. I don't remember measurements because I just winged it and thought everything look good. And please excuse my mess in the background. It's my little area that I have in our little apartment. I have too much stuff for that little area. I'll post a scrapbook page I did for Jenna tomorrow. Thanks for stopping by!

First Blog Post EVER! :)
So this is my first blog post! I've always wanted to start a blog but never got into it until now. So here is a little bit about myself. My name is Codi. I am from Florida and 19 years old. I currently live in the Washington state with my husband Michael and daughter Jenna. Michael is in the Army and this is where we are stationed. I started getting into crafts when Jenna and I moved here. I would be melting my brain to the television because I would be at home while Michael would be at work all day. So, I starting looking up YouTube videos on how to make hair bows. I went out to our nearest Michael's store and bought a bunch of ribbon to start making bows for Jenna. I was making so many that people were telling me to sell them. And I do now! I'm on Facebook and Etsy. Click here for my Facebook page and here for my Etsy shop. I got a Cricut expression for Christmas and I'm IN LOVE with it! I have only have made a few cards and a scrapbook page for Jenna so far because I only five cartridges to create from. I learned the ins and outs of the Cricut from My Pink Stamper on her YouTube channel and from her blog. She makes the cutest cards and she has her own stamp line. I don't have any yet but I'm working on it! So that is a little bit about me. I'll post my creations as I make them. Thanks for stopping by!
